Error Message:

Symptoms:
Error occurs after unzipping files and placing them into wwwroot folder

Possible Causes:
If you are saving the file to your desktop and unzipping the folder to your desktop, this may be your problem. If you drag/drop or cut the unzipped folder from the desktop to the wwwroot folder, this error seems to occur.

If you drag&drop/cut/copy from any other folder, there doesn't seem to be an error.

Solution:
The best solution is to simply unzip your files to a folder that is not a system folder. (ex: c:\unzipped, which is the default location for WinZip).
